A toolkit contains a set of tools used for a particular purpose. Like a cook needs a knife or a construction worker needs a hardhat, each job requires its own set of tools. Our most important job right now is to take care of ourselves - and that way we can continue to take care of each other and the business! This means our ‘Mei Mei Toolkit’ will include tools we can use to keep us mentally, physically and emotionally healthy. We'll know we're healthy by checking in with our bodies & feelings through Self Regulation!
Self-regulation is something everyone continually works on whether or not we are aware of it. We all encounter difficult circumstances that test our limits from time to time. The good news is, if we're able to recognize when we're becoming less regulated, we are able to do something about it to manage our feelings and get ourselves to a healthy place.
